Behind the scenes of a recent commercial with HP featuring one of my fave music artists, Merna, formerly known as Ayah. I’ve been a fan of her music for years now (since we first worked together in 2007) + we have similar interests so it’s always lots of fun collaborating with her :D
The purpose of this HP commercial is to feature artists with various mediums who bend the rules. Merna has a real passion for creating beautiful music and has the raw talent to back it. Over the years, her evolution has prompted her to write, produce & perform incredible songs that don’t really fit into specific genres or classifications but have a strong focus on lyrics, musical composition (including live strings) and sounds that evoke emotion.
